Also, only engage your hubs when stopped or going very slow (less than 8km/hr I think they say). The hubs are prone to failure due to the electronic brushes failing/breaking when people work on the front axle. You should jackup your front axle sometime and engage the hubs. Turn the front drive shaft by hand and make sure both front wheels turn. Disengage the hubs, and make sure the front wheels don't turn. This will tell you if the hubs are working correctly or not.
Once the hubs are engaged, you can push the H4 (high four) button while you are driving. Don't use it on a high traction surface though. Don't drive faster than 80km/h.
You must stop and put the auto transmission in neutral to shift into L4 using the small transfer case shifter.
Don't use the diff lock except when you are driving straight, and absolutely need it while extreme 4x4ing. I only use mine if I'm stuck or in a very precarious situation.
