I'm going to the states early next year and wondered if anyone could advise which lockers would be best for the front & rear of an LJ70 2.4TD?

I'm looking to pick up a set if possible. Which is the best value for money and easiest to install/

ARB. only worth having.

Hi Yorkshire Devi,

What is your usual use of this vehicle? On-road or mainly off-road?

I run "lunch box" automatic locking diffs in my FJ40. This is a rig that gets driven on the pavement in the city and on the highway for 2 - 3 hours to the areas where there are 4wd trails.

I highly recommend Aussie Lockers and/or Lockrites for value and ease of installation. Honestly, they are about identical. And, they can be had for about US$300 per diff.

This is not to say that other locking differentials are not good candidates. Selectable locking diffs such as ARB Air Lockers are well-known for their strength and reliability as well as flexibility.

Regards,

Alan
