Wondering if the steering boxes are similar with all Toyotas? I need. A new steering shaft seal. But I can't find part numbers anywhere...

Here are all the factory part numbers http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_J_1990_TOYOTA_LAND+CRUISER_LJ78G-PGT_4502.html (if link doesn't work, go to www.ToyoDIY.com and select your vehicle). You can do a reverse search on that site, and figure out what North American Toyotas came with the same seal, and then just buy it at your local Toyota. However it may be easier to just call one of the parts import places like Rocky Mountain Imports and see if they can find it for you. Won't be an expensive part.
You might be better off buying a complete rebuild kit with all the gaskets and seals.
