LJ-70... High Output Alternators (DIESEL)???

Hi mates!

Anyone know if there high output alternators for diesel engines??? :whoops:

I have LJ-70 2L-T engine 12 volts, an alternator that i need more amperage (Warn 8274 mods )

The alternator in my HZJ79 is 130 amps amps IIRC, thats plenty to run an 8274 on a good battery - or add another battery and run 4/0 cable to the batteries and winch.

I am adding another battery and big cables to run my winch and electrics:

What kind of alternator is that?. Mine is classed as 120 AMP but the box says it been load tested to a 137 amp

Pretty sure it is a denso - I called the company that remans them for a mine - they said it was 130 IIRC.

did you succeed with your LJ-70 High Output Alternator?
I am looking for the same thing as you did couple years ago.
I looked for alternator from HZJ7x, however it had no vacuum pump on it.
Did you find good high output alternator with vacuum pump for your LJ70?

But, i found a 1KZ-T engine
