I've finished the design of an intercooler for the SC iFZ-FE 80 series engines.
This design replaces the extension tube completely and bolts directly to the upper intake plenum.
The core used is rated at 700 CFMs and 600 hp.
It started life as a stock IC and then the tanks are modified for our application.
It is hard mounted to ensure that it will not come in contact with the valve cover where vibrations and time might damage it.
All professionally welded and a 1/8" NPT bung is added for use of an air temp sensor if so desired.
The initial run is for 5 units and their cost is $650.00 ea.
I'm asking that people prepay for these pieces.
I am in the process of designing the heat exchanger as well as the reservoir tank and they will be available later.
I'm offering this now as some might not want the entire kit and would only want the intercooler.
