Hey folks, I’ve got a brand new this season 4x4 labs rear bumper for an 80 series. It’s set up with tire Carrier on the passenger side, and triple Jerry basket on the driver side, fold down table on the tire, and also an auxiliary reciever hitch on the tire swing out for a bike rack, meaning you can run a 35” spare and the receiver sticks out just a tick passed, so no extension needed for the bike rack.

This whole setup is brand new and most still in the bubble wrap. Things changed with my 80 so I won’t be needing this bumper, it’s a super awesome setup, and someone will be stoked.

they are over 4k with all these options, not including shipping.

I’m asking 3600. Buyer must pick up, or if you’re close to Lincoln, I could meet you halfway up to 4 hours one direction.

Price drop.

I am AMAZED that you haven't had a single reply to your bumper thread. I usually see people lusting after the 4x4 Labs and your asking price for a new one is very fair.

Free bump and GLWS...

Hey thanks! I hope someone on mud wants it, I don’t want to go to Facebook

@Cursivearmy Maybe a dumb question, but couldn't tell for sure from looking at the site. You say its set up for the spare on the passenger side, how easy would it be to swap it to the other side? Trying to picture the bike rack extension that you reference too, didn't see it on the site either.

It’s because there are a bunch of extra accessories not a lot of people want to pay for. They’re nice, but hard to justify cost if you’re not going to utilize them all the time.

Hey, thanks for the question. Each swing arm has the mounting holes for either the tire carrier or the triple Jerry basket mounted in the correct location for that side. So the tire carrier attachment holes are spaced inward far enough to keep a 35 away from the tail lights, whereas the basket is spaced farther outward on its swinging arm, so they are not interchangeable. The spare tire mount Has to be on the passenger side. The nice thing about this is it is opposite the gas tank so as not to put all the weight on the driver side. The extra receiver is a custom option and it is a bar that you can see sticking out of the swing arm for the tire carrier side. Once the 35 inch tire is mounted it sort of covers up that extra receiver but allows access to the receiver for your bike rack. It looks kind of weird sticking out of there without a tire mounted but you get the idea think.

My current rear setup has the tire mounted on the passenger side and the Jerry cans on the driver side. I really like that particular setup. The spare is always on, but the Jerry cans are not. I seem to get more ‘functional’ use of the rear view mirror that way… 🤷

Yeah, I always ended up removing swing outs for "around town" use. Also, I remember back in the day being able to get a fully built labs bumper for under $2K. Way back in the day

Man I wish. ANY kind of swing out at this point is minimum $2.5-$3k. I live about 25 min from 4x4 Labs and Dissent though, hoping I can stop by and beg for a single swing out kit to weld up for a good price 🙏

just curious, will a 37" spare stick way out on it since its set up for a 35" tire?

Nope, the actually spare mount is adjustable, so you can tuck it in as tight as you’d like. I should say that the auxiliary receiver would actually sit in just a bit better with a 37” spare. The actual spare mount is not specific for either size

Messaged you
