Looking at a 2019 - 2020 GX460 that has the light leather. I have seen some people on youtube talking about how easily the light leather stains.

I have an LS430 with the light leather and it has not stained. I am assuming it is different leather.

Anyone with experience here on the light leather?

190k on ecru with no stains. Ripped, yes, but stains no. What are people sitting in, or eating (sloppily) that is staining their leather???

Those who say it stains, need to be wearing adult diapers and stop white knuckle driving.
Seriously, my 2013 with Ecru interior has worn out, cracked, become thin at the seams, etc., but never stained.
AND I don't wear adult diapers!

watch at 4:10. This guy talks about wearing jeans or dyed clothing and it staining.

He lost his credibility at "plenty of headroom for those over 6'3"... I'm 6'4", and it's "adequate", at best. Cannot wear a ball cap, and yes, seat all the way down. How about "buy better clothes if you're going to buy a $70K+ vehicle"? Crappy dye jobs gonna stain whatever you sit on, whether you can see it or not.

My seats stain. But I do crap my pants a fair amount, so you seem to be on to something. ;)

Bought mine used for less than a same year/mileage 4runner. So I paid a lot less than $70k and also wear cheap jeans. :)

To each his/her own!

All leather (& pleather) will collect grime between the grains. You just notice it more on lighter colors. A toothbrush and leather cleaner is all you need.
