So after talking with Demello, All Pro, and my buddy I think I have found a happy medium for all around wheeling. I'm looking at the Walker Evans 3 1/2 inch lift from All-Pro, with the body mount chop and dropping the rear bump stops 2 inches it will clear 35 inch tires with no rubbing, but still keep a low center of gravity. Im looking into pricing now and will post up pics when I finally get around to doing the lift.

It sounds like you may not be happy with many of the options available to you. The 3 inch lifts are probably the best option as you can still do a lot with them and they keep all of your angles pretty close to stock. This eliminates the need to replace a bunch of addtional parts to accomodate your lift. 6" will easily clear 35s but it will also cause the aforementioned issues and raise your center of gravity. This may be a concern if you are looking to get off camber. A Solid Axle Swap is a very cool idea and i have to imagine you could do this for way less than 10k. You may want to check with your buddy to see what he suggests for this option. SAS will give you some better offroad capability, but you will sacrifice road manners. Take some time, do a lot of research, and find what fits your needs best. My FJC is dual purpose and I have the OME 3". Works fantastic. I blew out a shock and they sent me a replacement no questions asked in under a week. Is there a reason you wanted to shy away from them?

the reason i wanted to stay away from OME is that i dont want to do a simple spring and shock swap, I do a little snow wheeling and some trail runs, but most of my time is spent at Ocatillo Wells and Anza in the sand, it seems to me when going fast you want a little better set up then just new shocks and springs, thats why i was looking at the walker evans coil over system its 3.5 inches so my center of gravity is low but i can still push 35s

The nice thing about the WE's is they are adjustable (if thats the ones your getting). Nice and stiff on the road and can be dialed down to be soft and flexy off road..

Now one thing I have heard about these shocks is they were not at good as the ICONS.. SInce your friend builds this stuff what does he say about WE's???

He says that the WE's are good but he still would rather do a custom build up on my truck I just dont know if my pockets are deep enough for what he wants to do, hes trying to talk me into letting him build a long travel similar to Air2Air's truck to run in the desert with his truck, and I doubt I can afford that on a military salary haha, we will see what he is thinking.
