for those of you in GCC that don't hang out in the 80 series section. Here's what my ride looks like now - I'm sure it won't be confused with any others in the area....

Sweet!

I miss my 80 so much....Which springs did you use? I remember looking into it and there were several options.

Now you need to take it out in the woods and get it scratched up....

Keith

My brother got me some used J springs from one source, and some used L shocks from another. Made my own bumpstops for the rear, and sway bar drops for the front. MAF 3" drop brackets for the front, and MAF front bumpstop spacers - the MAF SS extended brakelines are still in the garage, till I get time this coming weekend. So far (3 days worth), I'm happy with the set up.

It's allready scratched up! I had it out to grand about a week after I bought it. I was out to keystone gett'n muddy and pull'n out my friend's Jeep out two weekends ago (after I got the Mickey Thompson's, before I got the lift on). After putting the lift in I had to try it out, and went to a neighborhood that they've started. They've cut the road bed, so there is a 3ft ledge on either side of the bed. No problem to climb.

It may say Lexus, but it get's dirty - in fact, there is mud on the leather right now (too busy putting the lift on and enjoying my 1 month old son to deal with those details :) )

Here's me trying to put my wife into labor before the Mickey Thompsons

Looking GOOD :)
have you sold your 40 yet ?

Yep. Rule was I couldn't do anything to the Lexus till the 40 was gone. I took a bath on it. But it allowed me to buy my tires! Now I just need to get some steel to make sliders.
