Lift VS Level?

Hi All,

Quick question. I am looking at this inexpensive lift kit because many here have recommended Dobinsons.

Question: Under "Retain Factory Rake", when they say "I want it level" as an option, does that mean no lift on rear, just factory height?

I thought the 2" rear was to make it level. Am I wrong? They are closed today so cannot call support.

Also, I will be replacing the front bumper with a steel one, which is why I did not go with Eibach. Read its a little under sprung with the added weight. Should I be worried about this kit also?

I can’t speak to the rake question, but check out the section on that page for the spring type. The medium duty spring rate for the front *should* be good. However, your best bet is to look at some of the accessories you want to add, and get an idea of what the extra weight looks like. Steel bumper, winch, and line can be quite a bit of extra weight.
