Ok all, looking for some advice from those who get their lifted Cruisers into a parking garage without hitting. First, a few things:
  • I was going to just go with a slightly larger A/T tire (285/65/18) on a stock 2018 Cruiser (the "KO2's vs A/T3W's thread) BUT, I saw a Land Cruiser in the Dallas/Irving area today with what looked like a slight lift and 33's I think...it looked amazing!
  • With that said, I'm thinking of just foregoing the aforementioned size and going with what I originally wanted anyway...305/65/18 (or a 275/70/18; basically wanting a 33x12'ish tire).
  • As mentioned in the other thread, most driving will be highway commuting to work with the occasional mild off-road trips to CO/NM/AZ. No plans for a roof rack other than stock.
Now, before I get too excited, my limitation is the height of the parking garage at work...6'10" (82"). I'm looking at either OME, Tough Dog, BP51, etc but before I start harassing vendors on this site, I wanted to clarify what I can or can't do.

So, what's the collective wisdom of this forum on lift height and tire size (again, "wanting" a 33x12'ish tire) for a relatively tame Cruiser that will fit in an 82" parking garage?

Appreciate everyone!

I run a TJM XGS heavy spring lift, 285/70R17s. I have a Gobi Stealth roof rack.
I sit at 6'9" at the highest front bar.
A similar lift and tires with factory roof rack should be less than that.
You should be good in a 6'10" clearance garage.

285/65-18, BP-51, and Gobi stealth put me at 6’9” when I measured in my home garage using a level and standard tape measurer (close but not precise necessarily)

Went to nearby mall with PVC safety bar at 6'10" and I made contact. Probably a safety buffer in there but I only park in garages listed at 7'0" or taller.

YMMV

Edit: just read you are sticking with the stock rack. You should be fine.
