I probably should have searched better because i know its on here somewhere but i was just wanting some advice on lifting my truck. It's a 1994 toyota pickup 5 speed SR5 4x4 extra cab. Im wanting to go about 3-4 inches and i want a suspension lift but i cant find any that dont use blocks in the rear. If some one could give me some websites or any other advice, it would be much appriciated

Welcome newbie. :flipoff2:
It would help everyone to know what you want to do with your truck after the lift, 'cause ther are a number of different routes you can take. from show truck to desert racer to rock crawler.

Here are some sites you might check out:

I'm a newbie to the world of the mini truck, but I tried to list websites/BBSs from Mild to Wild.

If it is the rear springs that are hindering your project, there are a number of places that can sell you off the shelf lift springs that don't use blocks. Marlin Crawler and All Pro Offroad are two vendors that come to mind. Also there are some well respected spring shops such as Deaver and Alcan that can make you custom leaf packs.

Good Luck.

www.skyjacker.com - order their IFS lift and rear spring combo. That's the easiest.

I actually prefer the SuperLift front kit, myself. You could order that and then the Skyjacker rear springs.

Or you could use Downey 3" rears with longer shackles.

Or you could use Marlin 4" rears and weld on the front mounts.

Or...

Swap in SFA and go with All-Pro springs? :D

I'm about to put in the downey/rancho lift. one note is they will not work with the v6's due to the r134a a/c compressors. But this setup seems to be better than just a diff drop lift. As far as the rear, I have downey 2" springs and they now sag, I had to get 1- 1/2" longer shackels to bring it back up. and this is after only 3 years with very moderate wheeling. you may want to find another rear spring supplier.

Rancho used to supply a bracket to remount the AC compressor on those models. Was an easy mod.

But i'd personally skip the Rancho a-arms all together, as alignment is a constant problem. I ran one for a few years, a good friend still has one on his DD. Plan on getting alignments every 3 months if you don't wheel, every run if you do.
