These were both pretty straight forward. The crossbars are a great, less expensive alternative to the bigger "overland" racks for sale. The factory rails will hold a lot of weight, the weak point is the crossbars. I got the LFD bars for about $300 and probably quadrupled the carrying capacity of the stock rack. They're flat on top too for mounting a RTT and with nothing on it, really shouldn't effect MPG nearly as much as, say, a Front Runner rack.

A few tips on the crossbars; you only need to remove the plastic cover at the REAR, not the front. Factory bars will only slide out of the rear.

For the bumper, there are only a few like this on the market. I went with this vs. a full bumper to save some MPG/weight/parking clearance, not necessarily to save money. I prefer LFD "hybrid" over the Victory "blitz", hands down. LFD has full access to the top of the winch drum, Victory doesn't appear to have much, if any access at all.

Install was pretty straight forward, you have to cut the stock bumper but that's easy with a cutting wheel on a grinder. I didn't spend too much time trying to be precise or pretty and it still turned out good, this pig has 270k miles and IDGAF about how it looks. For mounting, you need two people, even with this thing only weighing 60 lbs. Inserting the side bolts requires two people. Also the winch contactor box needs a relocation kit. Tandem offroad makes one. You can probably fit the contactor under the bumper but it would be a PITA to get your controller on and off. My relocation kit has not yet arrived so I do not know how well it installs. Been using my LFD (4runner) crossbars for 3 winters now. They have worked great for RTT and hauling lumber. I do have whistling from the front crossmember when I hit 60mph. Maybe by adjusting the location it would disappear. Instead I just bolted on a bit of aluminum flatbar to cover the bolt slots.

Man I had a Front Runner rack on my other GX and the LFD bars are 100x quieter! That thing sounded like a tornado with the sunroof open!

Yeah the LFD bars are very quiet except for the whistle over 60mph. During the winter when snowboard rack is up there it is quiet.

Contactor installed. Had to make custom length power cables between contactor box and winch, the ones Warn packed were too short. Horns had to be relocated.

Also threw in some TRD wheels this week.
