Lets start the day with a dumb AC question....

So I wanted to get back on here before the heat comes back this summer. Replaced the fan clutch last summer and the next day had the same problem with the compressor shutting down due to engine temps and high pressures. No fix.
I bought the aux fan bracket kit and will install the fan before the heat comes but.......is this a bandaid for a real concern? I would rather fix it appropriately than to mask an issue. Anyone else in hot climates with a similar concern?
