Hi all, I'm posting this as a sort of intro and an ask for help in Santa Fe. I drive a '99 100 Series, mildly modified, and have lived down here for the last few years. I've also got an E28 535i if you ever want to chat vintage Beemer.

I'm wondering if anyone in the Santa Fe/Taos/ABQ area is willing to lend a hand and a level parking space to install some Ironman shocks on my 100 series. I currently live in a casita with a steep slope for a driveway. I typically try to work in my parent's garage in CO, but am not planning a trip for a while and don't want to pay someone to do a job I've done before. Plus I'm just eager to get the truck riding smoother.

I can provide my own tools, ample beer, and am willing to throw you some cash for putting you out, too. I'm no expert, but have done odds and ends, including a lift kit on my brother's old 100 Series, as well as shocks and springs on my old Hiace van. I think this would just be an afternoon or a couple of evenings to knock out.

Thanks so much for the consideration.

Hey man!
I love cruisers, I love beer! 🍺and I love meeting new cruisersheads! If you don't have a plan yet and are willing to drive south on Hwy 14 near the village of Cerrillos, I live off-grid on 23 acres and I wrench on my family stable of Toyotas constantly. I have a flat spot for wrenching and my schedule is flexible this week. the mornings are cooler but I have an easy up for shade in the afternoon . I'd love it if you brought a 12 pack of New Belgium VodooRanger juice force IPA! PM ya my#

I will also offer my place. I am probably about twice as far south from you as @mesa man . I'm not as cool as Gabe either. But I have tools and a torch. Leaving this Sunday for a little over a week, so not available right away. I tried IPAs, but to me they taste like earwax. I am more of a wiskey drinker, but do love Mexican Coca Cola.

earwax.......so many questions......... :flipoff2:

so true, so true mi amigo......

If there was cool scale, it's all about perspective. I'd put both you and Gabe at the high end of the scale with me at the other end.
