It actually wasnt that bad. Dude at DMV did bring the supervisor out, and he STARTED to elude to the idea that HE would have LIKED it to have been OBD! I politely reminded him that, per YOU GUYS, it was not REQUIRED!
He bawked a little bit and said..."well...if this were an 81, it WOULD be a different story...."
Anyway, I got the swap form done and they gave me their blessings, NOT before the supervisor started looking around the rig and checking out the work. He was very complimentary, but THAT made me a bit nervous, considering where I got the fuel tank from:eek:. He looked right at it and asked what the sump was. I explained it, and he said "man, you really went ALL OUT on this. I hate to think what you have into it."
From there, I went to the smog station, they smogged it and it passed and then I went BACK to DMV to wait for about an hour or so.
Got a GREAT vanity plate for her too. I cant wait to get it!:D

On to WHEELING this weekend!!!:steer::bounce2::steer::bounce:

It was as much for ME as it was for anyone else!
My peers watching the build and commenting (sometimes NOT so constructively :D) helps me overall with the build. I dont know what Im doing to be honest. Im learning as I go, so the input is greatly appreciated!
Also, the information that I receive from the members...its nice to give back what info I can from the things Ive done and learned.

In short...Im glad to do it!

Good thing I got biz cards and dates each time I went to speak w/ someone. He said "who did you talk to?" I whipped out the wallet and started naming people... Lol!

Still much to do, but the big hurdles are cleared.
Lots of figuring to do for storage. Got some wood (lol :)) to start building a storage box for this weekend. Hopefully I'll get something thrown together, cuz I'll need spares and tools and chit!
