@yjeff has a group buy deal worked out with the owner of Ruiz Custom Upholstery. We'd have to do 10 front seats, price would be under $750 for both, with new foam. He can match the leather color. Regular price is $800 or more. This is not limited to 80 series seats only.

What you need to do:
  1. Contact Ruiz Custom Upholstery. Best thing to do is go there with your seats. Tell them you are interested in group buy set up by Jeff with super nice LX450. Explain to them how you want to have your seats done. This place is flexible, they can do whatever is requested. Get something in writing, including color, so that it can be used to place order.
  2. Post here with "I am in with X seats" if you want to be included in the group buy.
Once we have 10 seats or more, I will coordinate with interested parties and Jeff to get final price and placing order. We probably won't see much of a discount until at least 10 seats of the same color.

Post here if you have any questions. Thanks Jeff for doing all the work.

There is a giant book of leather or vinyl colors you can alternatively pick from. If anybody wants to see mine in person before buying let me know. Prices above are for a PAIR of front seats completely redone

This place is like 5 minutes from my house! Will update here as soon as I get in to talk with them. Thanks!!

Do you know what he would charge for cloth seats and would that be part of the group buy?

The group buy is really only a bulk discount on the material, this mainly applies to the leather because the hides are only so big and there is a lot of waste with irregular cuts. @Rudster however if you can find enough cloth people, I'm sure I'd be cheaper to buy a roll of cloth material.

So is that $750 for a pair or per seat? Possibly in for 2 front seats, tan leather on a 99 LC.

The prices is was quoted was under $750 for tan leather on 2 Front 80 Seats. This price was around 10 sets of seats, based on cow hides at the time. Im not sure about 100's and their seat Airbags, somebody would have to show the owner a 100 seat.

at 750 for a pair of front and foam, I would commit.

Here is the color swatch that matches the tan LX450.

Went in today at lunch and the word from the man in charge there was that he doesn't know what the status of any group buy is. "I gave the guy a quote on some leather but it's been awhile", was his exact response. Anyways....I opted to skip the leather (never have liked leather seats!) and with no group buy discount I'm getting my two front seats foamed and upholstered for $550. Choosing from of an array of marine-grade vinyl and cloth I picked a dark grey vinyl for the bolsters and a deep blue tweed for the center panels. Three day turnaround. I'll upload pics when I pic up the truck on Thursday evening.

$550 for both...all material, all work, out the door. Mix and match marine-grade vinyl and heavy-duty fabric. Super friendly service was the cherry on top. I'll be back later in the year to get the 2nd row seats done the same way!

That came out really nice. Got me thinking as I want to do away with the leather and go with cloth but like how you had that done.

How much new foam work was required?

They were pretty beat...I wasn't sitting on springs but they were in not great shape. Certainly in the 'seat' part of the seat...bolsters and back were okay but what you sit on was very badly split and lots of foam was missing.

You took the seats out and took them to him correct?

I could have but I just dropped the truck off on tuesday morning and picked it up thursday afternoon. I wasn't going to be able to drive it with no seats anyway so... :-)
