Since a lot of us have older 100's, I was wondering what everyone was doing (if anything) to clean/protect their leather. I want to make sure mine lasts nicely as long as possible. Was eyeballing some Meguiars single bottle stuff and the Meguiars 2 bottle clean then treat solution. Then again, lots of guys on my BMW forum swear by some stuff called Leatherique. Just wanted to see what people were doing before I went shopping.

Leatherique has been discussed heavily here. They also offer a Mud discount.

Leatherique is supposed to be the ticket. That said I use Lexol cleaner and conditioner though. It's what I've used for years and is very highly thought of in the car care community.

This is a FAQ.

I haven't tried Leatherique and I don't know how it compares to lexus leather conditioner.

I've always use lexus leather conditioner (LLC) with very good results. I read in club lexus that the LLC is made by the same company that provides Lexus with the hides used in their vehicles. So I guess you can't go wrong with Leatherique or LLC.

A friend was just asking how to "de-shine" his leather steering wheel. Any remedies?

Mild detergent and warm water. Do the whole lower interior with it.

Although the driver's seat is finallly showing some wear from my skinny arse.

Believe or not. Fast Orange Hand Cleaner is the best leather cleander I have ever used. Just make sure to use some conditioner (any brand) after that.

A lot better result than Lexol cleaner I used before. Just try it in a dirty part of your seat and you will have happy face.

It's make sense. If it not hurt you hand, then it will not hurt any leather.

You can find it from walmart which is best price on the market.

Here is the link I learned from:

I like the Meguiars stuff. It's amazing to see how much grime comes off when you clean the seats. I guess I need to do it more often.
