Hey group! We are renting a sprinter van and are not going to get as far as we thought. Anyone have recommendations of where to camp near downtown Durango?

I don't think there are any RV campgrounds close to downtown, but there are several a few miles north on 550, near Hermosa. There's also one to the east, in Bayfield.
I don't know if it allows RV camping, but check out United Campground in Durango. A friend just stayed there and recommended it.
