So I noticed some fluid on my driveway and looked under my 2007 taco.
I thought it was the oil pan and my buddy discovered it was the left front axel were it goes into the diff. theres some play in the axle and a slight leak.

Anyone experienced this?

I haven't personally had the issue, but I've seen a few 05+ trucks with leaky axle seals up front. Not sure why - maybe the seals were defective, or maybe the breather is clogged and pressure is building up in the axle?

Its still under warranty, so take it to the dealer and have them take a gander - they'll fix it.

do you know what the problem is? my guess would be a inner axle seal is bad. same thing happend to mine and i replaced that and it fixed the problem

Yes inner seal is leaking. I took it to the dealer and they said the would warrenty it this time. They said something hit it like a rock or something. That could be possible I guess but I don't think thats what happened.
I'm getting it back tomorrow and going wheeling this weekend in Stoddard valley so we'll see if it's reaccuring.

cool warranty items are always good:D

i doubt it was a rock to. a rock would some how have to have gotten between the cv and the diff, which there isnt much room to fit anything in there

I agree, but I had to humor them becuase they said they were fixing it.
I asked them if they would warrenty the new dents on both passenger doors and the rocker, but they said I was pushing it. Ha ha.
