Leaking lines (1 Viewer)

Just went out to see if the 70 would fire up after sitting all winter. Lots of smoke and no fire. I popped the hood and noticed diesel running down the injector pump from the top where the lines connect. I've never worked on a injector pump before but I'm guessing there are some O-Rings in there that need replacing. I likely have air in the lines which is why it wont fire. Anyone replaced these o-rings or seals before? It's looks straight forward but that usually means its a nightmare. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Nice! I tried to prime it with the hand pump, thats leaking like hell too! Not off to a good start this spring. It ran great last year.

Most likely the gaskets on top of the injector valves. There has been a couple of posts wih the same problem lately. Its an easy fix.

How come you didnt start it up during winter?

Thanks, I'll search for those articles. I tried to start once but it was very cold out. I was super busy this winter with work and renovations so my bush truck got neglected unfortunately. Fishing/camping season is upon us again so I'll get this issue sorted out.

There is not much to it. Remove the injector line,remove the holder,pull the spring out and the gasket is there.

IMO you are probably better off finding a diesel shop that knows Toyota diesels for future reference,but yeah the dealer should have the gaskets
