70 series cruisers over in Britain are almost entirely coil sprung noticed a lot of your 70's in the States are leaf sprung is this standard from the factory?

Got 2 70's one for parts the other is yet another project

Yes, all Canadian 70 series (BJ70) came with leaf springs. The states didn't get 70 series land cruisers (unless you count mining vehicles?).

The light duty 70 series have coils and the heavy duty have leaf springs.

The current HD units have coils at one end and leaves at the other.

Thanks will have to look out for a Canadian import or look into a hilux spring conversion or get used to the coils. Unlucky US people the 70 is great
