I have two full sets of shiny, new shank style Toyota 12mmx1.5 lug nuts that I dont need sitting around in the garage. If your interested, let me know. Toyota wants stupid $ for them, I will settle for a 12 pack of Blue Moon or??

Done.

Amazing how much sh*t you coming up with after the move. Let me know if you find another set of 16 or 16.5 wheels for my ride. I’m thinking about setting up an extra set of tires.

Could I get a set, too?

Eric...just curious; what is stupid money on those?

beer and nuts

Sorry, Cook and AZFritz00 were the first two callers...:beer:

I cant seem to find them aftermarket so you have to get them from Toyota. They retail at $6.72 which means a set of 24 will set the average Joe (w/o a mud discount) back $ 176.27 out the door with tax . I think they have some platinum in them :p

That sucks.

I have a set of late model wheels that I want to use with winter tires on my cruiser. Mine's a '93 so I have acorns on the stock wheels.

I did that for a couple years till a few of my studs broke off on my front wheels. I then could see that the conical nut was only grabbing only about the half of the thread that the shank style did.

Be careful!

Indeed. The ones that came off on mine have got me convinced to not use spacer rings anymore. Course, could also be 200,000 miles of use and it was just time for the lugs to break, but still.....

Ya, I had a similar experience with less than ideal results.

Oh, I think you misunderstood.

I have acorn nuts that I run on my 93with the original wheels. I want to be able to run the other wheels with winter tires. I know better than to mismatch the wheels and lug nuts.
