Does anyone know if I would be able to export this LC70 model 2012:

Of course you can,but it depends on where(and where from) you want to export it to.

As I understand the rules (or at least the way they used to be written), if you have lived overseas for so many years and owned the truck for a certain period of time while living abroad, then you can import it to the USA as part of your move back. The vehicle can be exempted from normal EPA/FED regulations if you plan to keep it. It used to be a person could import one such exempted personal vehicle during their lifetime, or something along those lines. As noted, there are serious restrictions which you need to check out.

Or you could disassemble it, ship it in and then reassemble it. You still wouldn't be able to register it but you could use it as a trail rig.

Can you do it?

Yes.

Can it be done without a large amount of time, effort and money?

No.

If you have the time, contact a registered importer. They can walk you through the process and costs to import non-US spec vehicles. It's spendy and is truly a red-ass with the paperwork and modifications to make it legal for the US. Also, if you are truly serious and money is definitely not an object, then contact Mike from West Coast Cruisers.

But as a rule, if you aren't willing to spend twice the $$$$$ what the vehicle sells for, then you are not truly serious:flipoff2:

edit: Or, if money is still not an object, then go the Yooper route and have Proffitt's build you one on a 62 or 80 frame:grinpimp: Check out his thread, it's a nice truck;)

It's really long store. I think I get something between 85 to 86. That will be more than 25 years old
