These are the dates/weekends I have available right now. I've got too much crap going on all the time it seems. I usually don't like to pick the dates or be the organizer b/c sometimes more important stuff comes up and I may back out. Anyway if you guys want to setup a wheeling event lets pick a date and go from there. I'm open to the Badlands, any of the places in KY, Winrock in TN or maybe even Swiss in WV if I can find us a trail leader. I think we could use this as our meeting also if enough of us can go.

hmmm...no votes. I would take Swiss over the Badlands anyday, even though its a couple of hours farther for me. Nice long rock garden. I've never done Sacrafice Hill. The cool thing is there are a lot of bypasses on one of the main trails if you don't want to attempt certain obstacles. The Waterfall trail is nice also, my old Tacoma got a few marks from that one.

Like TLCA events?
karl...Do you know Don aka krawlr? I'm sure he would love to come to swiss with us and he knows his way around also.

Not TLCA, but like Hoosiers cruisers gathering at Badlands or event at Harlan, etc.

I have met Don along time ago
I am fine with him setting up a swiss run, it needs to be safe camping and wheeling. I can not have any tresspassing or no-permissions issues with my son in the rig.

ahhh...it'll be safe and legal. I'm not 16 anymore. ;)
The Hoosier Hodown is subject to a date change. This would be just us getting together and wheeling. I am planning on going to Toys 4 Tots at the BL first weekend of December usually. Other than that I'm not sure of any "events" around here. The Bluegrass guys usually do a big club run at Winrock in the fall but I haven't seen anythig on that.

I would like to go to SWISS in early or mid SEPT.
Those Videos look awesome.

Let me know if any one is going .

If it is the second weekend in sept the Wifey will be out of town So Myself and my son and our two dogs will likely come, Issue is how far away, Is there a website for SWISS ?? I cant seem to find anything on it.

I found no website for swiss myself. But those gentleman in the other thread(the link in this thread) im sure can answer any questions:). I live near wheeling wv so that puts me a 2 1/2 hour drive. Im not sure for you:confused: maybe 6

It's near Summersville, WV. It takes me about 5 hours to get there from Cincy, IIRC. Lots of curvy roads in WV.
Let me see if I can find some pix
There is some info here and on the message board http://www.mountaineeroffroad.com/

That would be a really long drive in a 40 dragging a trailer and with a 9 year old and two dogs, I will likely be out for this one.

This may have been asked before and probably will
start a controversy over if it's open and for how long but,....
Have you guys been to Wellsville?

I went Memorial Day weekend and had a blast. A lot
of "hairy" hills, creeks, rocks, and the like. 1200 +
acres of trails. Holiday weekends are busy there.
Yes you see some "billys" doing some crazy stuff.
I even saw a Saturn 4 door car at one of the playgrounds.
Accidents do happen there, usually involving booze.

My point is, Wellsville is not far away, and being this is
the Ohio chapter of TLCA, nobody discusses even going
there.

Just a little food for thought.
