Hey all, I know this is late notice, but I'm dying to get off the pavement and am going to head up to Azusa Canyon OHV park tomorrow.
If I'm by myself (1vehicle) I'll only go into the park, but if someone wants to join me (2+ vehicles), I'd like to check out the Rincon shortcut trail up to Angeles Crest Highway.
The park is $8 primary, and $5/per accompanying vehicle - must be 4wd and street legal.
The trail is free, but you have to register (make,model,name, license #s (plate and pocket) contact number) they give you a permit and combination to open the gates at either end of the trail.
There's also a restaraunt a few miles from where the trail lets out called Newcombs Ranch.
I'll be leaving Long Beach around 9ish, to make it up to Azusa around 10.
If anyone's interested in joining, PM me with your info- I'll be up till about 11 tonight and double check this tomorrow morning before I leave.
