Wanted Late 70's to 83 FJ40 Frame

ALCON,

I am looking for a frame near Virginia in good condition of later years. My truck has antique tags which are not inspected, so a VIN number is not important to me. I want to make sure that it doesn't have cancer like my current New England-sourced '79, and something I can sandblast and coat to perfection (or close).

I am willing to drive to pick up, but just not west of Nashville.

ALSO, if there is a tub in good shape I NEED THAT TOO.

eek...it was 6k for the tub...which i think is double what i got the truck for. but i suppose it's a pretty normal price.

6K for new tub isn't a bad deal depending how well it was made.

I have a 82 frame but on the wrong side of the country.

So, I'm progressing on my project here...I am trying to import a tub from Colombia from FloridaFJ80 and I found a '72 frame in good condition for 200 bucks...thanks poopboy. Will the later model tub fit the older frame?
