After welding on the backside of the bumper, obviously the mig welder burned off some of the powdercoating. It wasn't too bad, some spray paint was needed to touchup but one day, I will get the whole bumper redone.

Wow, very cool! Hey, a slight detour, is the scoop on the hood functional?

Curious, why did you need to weld those pipes on it. Is it just for fit and finish, or did you mount the lights to that insert? Just curious what would prevent you from mounting the lights close to the inside of the hole you cut without welding in additional pieces? (I like your idea, but I just don't have a welder)

Also, any plans to a sheild over them like you did your ARB signals in the bumper?

The lights are screwed into the insert....there is no option but to weld the inserts on. The option I had was to simply drill a hole and stick lights behind the bar. BUT, because of the 15 degree wing swept angle of the ARB bar, the lights would be pointing outwards...not straight ahead.

Ahh yea.. forgot about that 15degree sweep. Nice work btw! What J@@P cover will you use for these lights :) Do the lights slide in from the front or back? If the back, some grills could be set in the hole and welded or mounted permanently

The light bulbs for teh ARB running lights are replaced from the front. I got the "grates" for the lights years ago. You can get them from any place selling J&^p stuff. But you dont want to weld them...you change the bulb from the front of the bar...if you weld it you'll never replace the bulbs .

What's the hood scoop for? The intake is no where near there.

Lights Look Sweet. Is That Diamond Plate On Top Of The Bumper? Looks Good

I agree the diamond platting looks outstanding!

The scoop is for better engine cooling. That along with my fan gives me better A/C

Great idea on the scoop, it looks great and serves a purpose. What scoop did you use?

Another cool mod, Mr. Gadget of the Dallas Lone Star Cruisers. This guy can literally charge admission to show all the stuff he's done to his truck, and it's an hour show if he rushes. Super nice guy as well. Well done, my hat's off to ya.
