1) Soft top bows and rear seat came from "Jeremiah" proffitts cruisers. allthough its a repro but couldnt have asked for more in terms of finishing and quality. they almost look stock.

2) Driver seat frame came from Phil, I just installed the back matel sheet.

3) Brake shoes came from Jim, and they are working as good as new ones should work.:D

4) Dash tags came from Mike, Sorry I havent got a chance to installed them.

Other Things I have changed to bring it back to stock since I aquired this baby are:-

Complete Steering System is stock now, except for steering wheel.

Stock toyota windshield "NEW" with all stock rubber and key.

Stock Tail lights "NOS"

Stock Pintle Hook, I found and bought from SOR.

"NOS" Toyota Wiper Motors.

Thanks a lot guys for all your support and guidence.

Gee, Archie . . . we don't want you or your 25 to leave. :frown: You better find a way to get back here soon.

You've done a great job on your truck!! And, I'm proud that a lot of us have been of assistance or inspiration. :)

If you get the time, I'd pull off anything that protrudes (soft-top bows, mirrors, etc.) before it goes in the shipping container to lessen the chance of breakage. Maybe even fold the windshield down and cover it.

By the way, great job on the seats!! (But, you better keep an eye on that back seat until the truck is under way . . . . Mike might be paying you a midnight visit prior to your departure :D ).

We're going to miss you, Archie. And, you're always going to be part of the family, so don't forget us.

Best wishes to you and have a safe journey. Vaya con dios, my friend.

Archie! Is this what it takes to finally get pictures? ;p

Looks great, how long do you think the container trip will be? Hope the 25 has a safe trip....................as well as you and yours. ;)

You bet steve,

I know how hard it is for me also to leave this place and specially all of you guys. the other day I wrote to Phil, that it was always me who wanted to move out of this country, so I started this process about a year ago with the feeling of not enjoying enough in this country, And then I bought FJ25 and thats when I finally met like minded people "All of you guys" and this is exactly what I was missing when I took the decision of moving somewhere else.

Anyways Its too late now to go back, All I can think of looking at the positive side of my decision. (we will be moving to a place where we always wanted to get settled, career wise we will have more opportunities etc. and last but not the least I will have opportunity of driving the oldest land cruiser and the only FJ25 in the country. :D, In other words I will not have any competition in this department, here offcourse I can not compete with all of you guys. ;))

Well I will miss you guys a lot too, but then we will be always in touch on this forum and who knows I being the first International member of this forum will invite you all to our very first international FJ25 CONVENTION in New Zealand. :)

I am so sorry Jim, All these days I barely had my rig at home, and thats why I couldn't take enough pics to post. :crybaby:

It will take about 35 to 45 day for the container to reach New Zealand. Meanwhile we will be visiting my home country "INDIA".:) we will be leaving on this saturday.

Thanks for the wishes. :) I will be in touch with you guys in this forum.

Proffits Cruisers was supposed to build ME a rear seat frame WAY before Archie asked. I feel un loved.
Nah, you're still loved. But I didn't know Proffits built/sold those. Are they OEM clones and will they take the SOR-style seat cover kit?

(Didn't mean to hijack your thread, Archie. :o )

There is a thread somewhere on here about the 25 that Jeremiah has and it has the original rear bench seat. Since I know they do fabrication, I PM'd them and asked if they would make me one. He said ok.
