Hi..i have a 2001 v8 4.7lt landcruiser amazon with 94000 miles on the clock which starts drives and cruises at any speed as it should with no problems ever, now it has started to idle very low around just under 200rpm when at normal temp,it dips down to less and the car revs its self up to 300rpm or so as not to stall but the car some times stalls when sitting at junctions/light etc..it has just started this problem and before i try sort it my self wondered if anyone has had this problem thanks.

I would start with a new air filter and cleaning of the MAF and TB. Make sure to disconnect the battery and after you are finished, start the truck and let it idle for 15 minutes so that it can baseline itself. Doesn't cost much and if does not fix the issue you didn't really waste any time or money as these are great things to do at any time. If that doesn't fix it, perhaps you are due for some new front O2 sensors.

You haven't disconnected the battery lately have you? If so, the ECU needs to go through a few start cycles before it's happy again.
