Hi Guys

I need help. Just got a Landcruiser 2008 76 series from one of the coal mine sites.

The thing has had a tough life but im going to bring her back to new again!!

and just looked at the engine bay and I reckon one of the RHS front injectors are leaking and the RHS rocker cover gaskets are leaking.

I got a few quotes here in Perth Western Australia for $1200

thought I might try a DIY first so I can get a better understanding of my car.

Do you guys reckon its a good DIY or should I leave it for the experts????

cheers

Looks like its just the seal in the rocker cover thats leaking, probably no need to do the injectors. As has been said, just need to be careful when disconnecting the injector harness and also when pulling the rocker cover over the top of the injectors

Edit: check with Toyota if it needs new fuel lines when you disconnect them, some are made so they're a single use item, the new Isuzu trucks I work on are made like that. There's a good chance of them leaking fuel under the rocker cover and into the sump if you re-use them
