This isn't your typical LC in a movie spot. I saw the movie the other day with my son and I was amazed that someone did what I was thinking of how to do with my golf cart. It looks likes someone took a typical UTV, like a Polaris or something and made a frontend to resemble an FJ40. They called it the Armadillo in the movie at was green as opposed to the yellow image in this poster. However, there was no mistaking the square bezel, opening in the front of the hood, and the fender lines and side scoop on the apron. The funny thing is, someone used this as the UTV in the movie, but then used a CJ5 for the female's vehicle of choice. Is it possible that the film was filmed out of the US and someone makes an FJ40 UTV look-a-like there?

Was the movie any good? I was considering taking my son this weekend.

It was entertaining. He didn't laugh much at it. We, parents, laughed more than he. Do not waste the money on 3D. I didn't see anyway this movie would have been better in 3D.

We spent $35 on it, and I wasn't to mad about it. I would have rather watched Narnia, or Tangled I believe though.

If you go, keep an eye out for the green Armadillo. It appears this movie was filmed in New Zealand, so who knows what kind of custom UTV they used while filming. Since it obviously wasn't a stateside thing I guess my searching can stop. The Aussies always get the cool stuff.:bang:
