I have a 66 or early 67 Fj 40 tub bare, with non-cut rear fenders, tub only, the rear corners have been replaced with sheet metal. looks ok not repaired by me but a previous owner, and I have removed the dash. The floors are rust free front and rear. It looks like herculiner or similar has been applied a few years ago inside and on the bottom. This tub is bare, I mean naked, only a few bolts here and there!!! A perfect rock buggy candidate. No registration, sorry. For the going price of: FREE, FREE,FREE, FREE!!!!! OK, maybe some beer!
I also have a 72 FJ40 tub bare naked also, dash cut up for aftermarket gauges,rear wheels cut, front and rear floors are rust free with rhino lining.
Also a good rock buggy project. Again the price is FREE, FREE, FREE, plus the beer tax!
Also I have a 1959 FJ25 Tub for sale. This tub is also bare as in naked, no bolts, brackets, wiring etc. It does have the unique FJ25 door openings.
There is very little surface rust, but the three rib portion of the dash has been cut out by a previous owner why, I do not know. This tub does come with a vin tag for the tub but I do not have the frame. I paid $300 for this tub and drove for 4 hours to get this tub, the previous owner was moving and was going to scrap it. I have had I for about a year and have taken on other projects and do not see this build anywhere in the future. I would like $250 for this tub or maybe trade for some parts. This tub was in the 25 section of mud under ($300 fj25 tub).
These tubs are in San Bernardino CA, and are pick-up only!!!
