Hi guys,
Mitch here from Coogee NSW Australia.
I have a 2000 HZJ78R, RV Model Troopy that I would love to place the original factory 'RV' decal on from the "Tire Tread" logo Toyo used to use.
A few guys on ebay are making repop designs, but I am actually not chasing the entire "tire tread" image, just the "Land Cruiser RV" text portion of that.
Just wondering if anyone on here has this logo on file, or knows where to get it? A digital copy would be awesome so I can have it printed locally in Vinyl and I can stick it back neatly under the rear windows.
A few images of the logo I'm chasing... and one of my Troopy!
Cheers gang!

I thought places that could print those stickers off could also take the pic and use it. Or you take the pic and resize it and let them do the rest.

Hey Mitch, given that it is an "RV" does that mean it has a different interior? If so, I'd be most interested in seeing some photos!

RV stands for Right hand drive, station wagon. Its Toyota model code. Troopys came in 11 seater jumpseats along the side or 6 seater with the middle width wise fold forward bench. My full model is hzj75rv-mrq

RV in the sticker form is recreation vehicle. Toyota badged many models as RV Hiace, Prado ,many of them maybe RHD but thats because it was mainly done to JDM models
This one looks like a hearse that you can take your friends or family away for the weekend in.

Usually it meant cloth seats , armrests electric windows ect and if it had rear seating, the seat would be facing forward. And you could get colours other than white. They often had split rims because Toyota dealers knew that owners would put aftermarket rims on them. Although you could also order Toyota's overpriced wheels. The first of the RV models in the FJ/HJ75 era were fairly basic and I think the ones in Australia were made up by the dealers There was even a RV Dyna

Rosco has hit the nail on the head. I have the HZJ78R 'RV', so get cloth/fabric seats, cloth/fabric door cards, chrome trim around the roof gutters, central locking, forward facing rear seat (fabric/cloth), high mount rear brake light, factory speakers in the rear doors, maybe some other minor things.
The HDJ78R 'RV' Rosco has pictured got everything mine has, plus a remote for central locking, front passenger bucket seat (cloth/fabric) instead of 1 3/4 seat like mine, electric windows, carpet, alloy sidesteps instead of steel, chrome front and rear bumpers, chrome window trim, and of course... that awesome 1HDFTE factory turbo donk/H151 gearbox - with cool stickers too!

Hi mate, the RV model code was actually a trim level, over the standard model, at least in the 78/79 series. Basically cloth fabrics and few little other items, as noted in my post above.
These days they call them GXL's and Work Mates, here in Aus anyway.

Hi mate, please see the pics Rosco posted of the blue HDJ78R above - although that interior is a bit nicer than mine, with passenger bucket seat and arm rests on the doors! Mine has the cloth fabric seats, door cards, central locking, forward facing rear seat, etc. Cheers.

According to the id plate decoder, the steering position is usually left blank if its RHD ( I guess Toyota see RHD as the "normal" positon in which to steer a car:grinpimp: ) , but if its present, R is for RHD and the following V is for hardtop. Its not often the R is present from my observations.

Right, the v was a few descriptions depending on the year, v had bus, stationwagon and a few others depending on the year :)
