Not in a Land Cruiser but I have seen them in action on full size Chevys and they work great.

Says they have them for a lot of the different land cruiser trannys. Even the A3440 or whatever it is in the 100 series

I've not studied these but the problem with most of these gear reduction boxes is packaging. There isn't usually enough space between the rear output and the gas tank on vehicles with rear mounted tanks. YRMV

They also require floorboard modifications to make them fit. Your best bet is a set of transfercase gears from Marlin. They make a noticeable difference when in low range. High range stays the same.

I've studied on them some, even talked with them a little on MUD. They don't have, or didn't last time I looked, an adapter for the 1fz trans in either flavor. 80 series with slushboxes don't have room for a crawlbox without tank mods. I was looking at sticking one between an h42 and split case in the 80 as the total overall length is similar to the stock trans. Since Marlin stopped making the toy box its about the only way to get a crawlbox in line on an 80. Can't speak to other series rigs.

Ah yeah I was wondering why I haven't seen more of these around. I guess I got my answer. Marlin crawler gears would be the more reasonable answer anyways I think
