Well after a nice day spent in the Mud at James and Amy's

Decided to drive up to Pilsbury to see on the overall conditions..

On the County road heading in there were near a dozen trees that had come across the road at some point ..all clear ..just drive to miss the potholes ..

The trails were all closed and nasty, muddy and overall kinda tore up

The first trail we normally run up ericson ridge woulda been kinda fubar since the main road had a few big trees across the road not cleared out

Heading up to hull mountain on M1 when you make the turn to the Left up the hill there were at least another dozen trees fallen across the road up to V crack .. I couldnt make it to the first landing since some Dummy was parked in the middle of the Road block it .. since he couldnt make it any further..

M6 is the other Road that we head down for the trail that makes a loop back to V crack you could get to that no problem ...

However from the Air Strip 16 miles in on M6... just as you leave the Game Refuge there was a UsFs service truck that looked like it was Stuck on the road

The Snow over on that side look fairly deep probaly 2 ft + on the road

Where I turned around there were no tracks coming in from the Tar Flat side of M6 should be plenty of snow even in a Few Weeks..

Here are some Pics of my Outing with the Family in My wife's Tahoe

My Son doesnt understand yet is is more fun to drive through the mud puddle instead of run :hhmm:

Whatever, he's got it down set, you've just gotten older, erm, grown up is all. :hillbilly:

As for the lady bugs, they are "in season" right now, they do that same thing up in a place in Downieville, and a place in Arcata I know of and if that was on public land you should've considered harvesting them to sell them, people bring in big bucks for a breed pack, as the profits literally hatch and grow. Don't grab a whole pile, but instead, using a small butter tub, scoop a handful and also some of the material they're feeding in.
