KZJ77 manual trans / 1KZ + 3L trans ?

Hi all,

Project at hand is to transplant a 1KZ with manal gearbox into an LJ79.

I have ben finding it very hard to find a donor 1KZ mated to a manual gearbox.

What vehicles would been fitted with 1KZ+manual gearbox ?

Was the same gearbox used with other engine as well ? if so which vehicles ?

Is there a way to mate up the 1KZ engine to the existing 3L manal gearbox ?

We need hard acceleration from the vehicle so the low gearing of the 3L drive line will not be a problem with the 1KZ

Hello, I write from Spain, as far as I gearboxes of L70 and KZJ70 are equal. Just change the gear ratio of the first and second gear that are shorter. Interchangeably with 2lt engine or 1KZT. Change the clutch cover.
