Posted this on an old thread, but it’s not showing up on new feed. Question about KM3’s. Looks to me like they may have a directional tread pattern, and some may have theirs mounted in the wrong direction? Here are two examples, the fj60 looks correct to me, and the fj40 would be backwards? If there is a direction, maybe that would explain why some do not like the performance, noise etc.

Both look good, just wondering which way to mount mine?

They are not directional.

@JeffD I just went out and looked at mine after your PM because I never thought about the sidewall. No matter which "way" you mount them they will appear as shown above. If you envision an arrow or chevron in the sidewall it will point backwards at the top of the right side tires, and forwards at the top of the left tires. Flip one around 180 and you'll see what I mean. I mounted all mine with the date code out.

I looks like it from the sidewall, but you're looking at the tire on two different sides of the truck. If you move the PS 40 tire to the DS of the 60, the sidewall pattern is pointing the same way as the 60 pic.

If you look at the tire from the top, and follow across, the arrows do point in two different directions. So each side of vehicle will have a different appearance no matter how you mount them.
