whats the current wait time to get a kit right now?
looks like about 3 weeks for drawers, 1-2 weeks for the other pieces. megamat duo 10 was 3 weeks as well ... so not a big deal. I've got some time before my new commute (cottonwood pass) shuts down for the winter and i begin treating my workplace as an oilrig-type situation (if they can't reopen I70 by late fall).

For the colorado folks and those familiar with the area - my landshark purchase was driven by the Glenwood Canyon mudslides and extended closures over the last 12 months. I live in Eagle and work in Carbondale... so my LC has become my dailydriver/commuter, and the highway was closing seemingly just at the threat of clouds over the last couple months, and is now closed indefinitely. In hindsight CDOT was right to close it every time it rained. In any event, i'm trying to purpose build the 100 series to be a fallback plan in the event I can't get home, which has happened more than a few times. Beginning with the drawers and sleeping pad, and likely extending to: CB radio, recovery gear, window covers, cooler (no fridge yet), power, gas, stove, etc. Not sure if i'll ever get into bumpers, winch, OME suspension and the like, but you never know.

I've tried emailing Dave a couple times but haven't heard back so I'm going to copy and paste it in this thread. Hopefully someone here can share their experience.

I have a couple questions regarding upgrades. Either I’m doing something wrong or the standard tie down straps aren’t up to the task. I’m having difficulty getting them tight enough so the drawers don’t slip forward even during normal driving. I’m looking at your upgraded anchor straps but the image you have on your website makes it appear as if the fin would interfere with where the wings mount. I assume that you designed them to be used with the wing kits but I wanted to make sure before I order.

Secondly, I’d love to have the integrated cutting board but then how will the drawer latch? It seems like the cutting board takes up the same space as the latch does. Again, I assume you’ve sorted this out but just want to make sure before I pull the trigger.

Anyone modify (shorten) a drawer to create a space at the back to mount a house battery?

With the sandbar, the latch gets moved to the top of the drawer.
Straps get fed between the wing and drawer

Good to know about the sandbar.
Yes, I have the straps routed through the narrow slots on top, the camlock style straps make it difficult to get even tension on both sides (assuming I’m doing it right).

I went with the metal anchors. I can see what you mean about the uneven tension for straps, but don't no anyway around that.

The upgraded ratchet straps would do the trick but as you can see in the link it doesn’t appear as if they would work with the wings.

I'll let you know if the wings and ratchets are compatible next week.

I did not shorten one, but it would be fairly easy I think. I say that because I ended up building my own drawers which are similar to Dave's design when stock was unavailable early this year. I built my drawer to be 36" deep and then I have 4-6" behind the drawer which is accessible from the 2nd row which houses my jack and some other assorted stuff. You could certainly build yours shorter (say... 30") if you need more depth for a battery. Just note the interior of the box is going to be less than the total height, so any battery more than ~9" tall won't fit (unless you get an AGM and mount it on its side).

The only thing that could be an issue I think is how the back of the Landshark cabinet is attached and where the wing supports are at the top of the drawer.

BTW a word of advice... buy Dave's drawers and work from there. I spent so much time cutting, fitting, sanding, etc in order to more or less replicate what he did that it absolutely would've been worth the small savings to do it in one day. Also another tip... the drawers will hold more than the 100# listed, but in my experience they are REALLY hard to move when they are fully loaded, as compared to ball bearing slides. (At least given my experience with 1/4" UHMW). YMMV.

Looking at these and trying to decide if the 35 size will work with kids car seats that are forward facing in the second row (which makes use of the tether on the floor of the cargo area). It appears to measure exactly 35” from the closed tailgate to that car seat tether (not to be confused with the cargo d-ring anchors). Anyone have experience with this size and able to confirm those tethers are usable?

I did this- cut drawers to 34” and drilled into the tops with a hole saw, finished with a furniture grommet. At 34” it takes some doing to get the latch anchor hooked- I would not go shorter than that. My kids don’t use latch anchors anymore so if you’re ever in SoCal I’m open to a drawer swap.

I just ordered two 40 drawers I am going to stack. I ordered the driver side wing kit for the 100 series. Anybody have any pictures with drawers stacked with the wing kit?

Does anyone know how to get ahold of Dave at landshark besides email I placed an order 3 weeks ago and had some questions about my order and have gotten no responses. I sent a message on instagram as well and no response.

I get it it’s his side gig but for people to spend almost a thousand dollars and not able to get a response back is pretty frustrating.

I got my order earlier this week for sleep with the fishes additions. Need to stain it and take out the 2nd row seats. I order 11/18 and got it just under a month later which isn't too bad. I will post up pictures. But what is supplied are replacement corner extensions mount to my KISS drawers and there are 2 legs per side for the platform which should be more than sturdy enough. My dog will be sad to lose her roomy back seat to sleep in but will get to ride shotgun with me now.

Stained with Gunstock but its a bit redder than what I had used in the past. Just added polyurethane top coat to seal and protect it.

Hope to install it all tomorrow in prep for my trip out to Utah for the holidays

So for those with the KISS drawers the sleep with the fishes platform require some minor modifications to work. If you have the latest Reef drawers no issues. I’ll update this week when I have a chance. It held up wonderfully for my 14 day trip over the holidays.

I'd really like to get a set of the 40" drawers for my FJ60 while I'm here in Bend. Does anyone have news on whether @cruzerDave is planning to make some more of these beauties? I see at the top of his website he shares a note about a "major, massive announcement through the newsletter".

I saw a set up in a 100 while I was up at Mt. Bachelor skiing with the fam and they're amazing. I've gone down the path of considering making my own but honestly these things are so great it doesn't make much sense.
