Thinking of a possible Kisatchie trip up to The Red Dirt Area. I know a few have been before and may have some feedback on trails to hit. I was thinking of starting with the Kisatchie Falls entering from the south end. Then cruise some dirt roads around to Kisatchie Bayou Campground and try to hike the a short trail at Long Leaf Vista.

I am planning taking my grandkids in March when they have spring break. Do you or anyone on this post know of good camp sites with hiking trails, fishing and close trails I can take the rig on?

John when are you thinking about making this trip I'd certainly like to make it as well

Elliot and I would be interested also. We did the Long Leaf Vista trail with the LaSoar group last year.

Sounds nice I just looked it up on Alltrails I would like to go check that out as well. I thought about going hike the Backbone again at the end of the month but I'd opt for a trip with the club, our weather is all over the place.
