You guys know I'm hell bent on going to GSMTR May 18-22. I have already requested the vacation days from both Amanda and my boss - in that order! I even ordered my Aussie Locker this morning! All I have left to do is have the roll bar welded in, rebuild the front axle, rebuild hubs, rear axle seals, drivers side rear wheel cylinders and shoes, and pop the locker in. I still need a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, CB, and maybe a receiver hitch recovery shackle for anchoring a tow strap. It may be time for a new battery as well.

I'm hoping to get the roll bar welded in on the weekend of Feb 26 & 27. It would be great to do either the front axle or the rear (with locker) at the same time, but we will see. My other definite planned work days are May 6 & 7.

Anybody got a tow vehicle and trailer??

We can get most (if not all) of that stuff done in one day if we start early. The rear axle seals will be done with the locker install. We can weld the roll bar while some other busy hands are working on the front end. I know someone that has a BIG Dodge truck that is not going to GSMTR??? Might be rented for the week???

We are leaving Atl on Mon AM and meeting you'll around 2PM for lunch then on to Longview for the night. Tue AM we should hit Brady around 4PM.

We love ole Butch! I've been trying to get the guys in the club to bite the bullet and go on one of these trips. I told them how much fun the Roundup was last year. I think they are just afraid of getting hooked like some of us are. Hell, I can't miss one now! As long as I can sing with the band then I will keep coming. Might want to keep that in mind!
