Hey All!

The Toy Run was a great success. Most ever rigs in the park, 130. The 2 huge boxes were over flowing with toys.
There was still quite a bit of snow on the ground. Most, but not all hills required a few attempts to make it all the way to the top.
Tahoka's hill, at least the Southern facing slope was clear. Golden an I made it up the big ledge at the top no problem.
We had a large group, 17 rigs with Golden and I leading, what were they thinking..
After one hill climb, Golden and I ended up at the rear of the group. So Keith Morris, (Chris R. knows Keith), took to leading. On the way down a hill his jeep slid sideways into a tree. Caught his left middle & ring fingers tween the jeep & tree. Ouch. Broke the end of the ring finger, split the middle requiring 14 stitches at Ft. Scott Med Center.
Golden and I baby-sit, Keith & Sondra's dog while they went to town. We took him up Carnage Canyon for his first time. Good Dog! We did Purdy good with the snow covered rocks. It was when we got the mud covered rocks that forward & upward progress ceased. Strung out the cable and we was out toot sweet.
I won 2 items in the raffle. Gave one away. Stopped for dinner at El Charro's in Iola, Mmmmm!
Great day, the Cruiser has another coat of mud on it. Perhaps I will just paint it brown...
The Frost Bite Run is February 24th, I think.
C Ya, Don P.
