When I lived in WI "All season" tires sucked the same winter, spring, summer and fall, fine at everything and good at nothing.. So I ran two seats of tires, well worth the money..

The way I see it, it's a 4x4 and anyway you slice it it's like those lawn mower races, they look like their standing still even when they're doing an amazing 30 MPH... So when I'm gonna error I error on the safe side.. Now if you find me proove they're running these on the 3rd world Cruisers I may think over a switch otherwise I'll stick with OEM for the Cruisers and aftermarket on the cars as I think it's worth it there..

well sonoran ya gotta remember that 3rd world cruisers arent asked to perform off road then do 80MPH on the hiway home. cant really compare the two, from crappy gas to engine rebuilds on the dirt its just not the same environment. but i know what you mean,,,,i dont even have a friggin K&N on my cruiser, i runt he stock paper element. just wanted to ruffle the noobs feathers;)

but the panty hose comment was spot on as i do run a UNI filter on my moto.:flipoff2:

Good point... I'm sure those things are called to run on home brew from time to time even.. I just hate falling for crap gimmicks.. With my Honda cars and Lexus cars of the past I could see how the filter helped.. On the Cruiser, I just don't see what it matters, slow is slow anyway you slice it.. I play too much in really fine dust and using a K&N would just scare me.. I could see swapping out for trips though if it helped my MPG...

yeah i really dont think K&N does squat on a pig of a cruiser engine, pretty sure even a generic paper filter flows more air than a lunker engine needs.
