Hey People,

No big write up but just some pictures of my 1/10 80 series build. It is based on a trx-4 chassis which is not exaclty realistic, but makes for a fun driving RC with the two speed and portal axles.
Initially I wanted to make a mini version of my lx450 but the missing cladding prevented me from going that way.
Enjoy :)

what body is that? would love to build a replica of my fzj80 on my scx10iii chassis

Really nice build @FZJFreddy!

How easy is it to get to the power button?I have a TRX4 with an LC70 body and with the interior in place it’s really a pain to turn it on and off. I ended up removing the interior and access the power switch through the door.

That is cool!

Its not bad because the engine/esc has been changed for a hobbywing 2in1 combo, so the button has been relocated to the front behind the grill.

Some people use a little 3D printed lever on the stock esc so you can turn it without lifting the body have you seen those?

I haven’t, but that’s a good idea and I’ll check it out. I think I might build an 80 now, thanks for sharing. Here’s my 70.

Looking good! looks like your using the same suspension as I am to fit the full rear interior!

This is the switch I was refering too, didn't work for me but a lot of people really like them:
