Just renewed my silver star- ads

I just renewed my subscription silver star and now I get ads that I didn't have to look at before showing in the body of the posts. How do I get rid of them?

There is no Silver star next to your username...if you did an echeck, they take a few days to clear

Hmmm

PayPal is a bit of a mystery to me. Somehow I managed to make an "e-check" by choosing my bank acct. (the one that is supposed to verify my paypal account) for the payment. Should clear in 3-5 business days.
