What is the best place to go to for an alignment in Charleston. I'm going to need the positive camber taken out of the front end, and I really want to make sure who ever does it does it right... heard lots of horror stories about goodyear, firestone, etc. I'd go to the dealer, but how mod friendly is gene reed and west ashley toyota? For anything major I will take it to Sparks, but not for an alignment... too far to drive

I have heard good things about the alignment shop on 17 across from LowCountry 4x4 in West Ashley. It is the shop they use and they have lots of experience with lifted trucks. I cant remember the name but if you call LowCountry I am sure they will tell you.

yes

they are right across from coastal motor co on 17. don't remember the name, but the owners name is ken, if he can't do it ( i'd be surprised) he will definitely steer you in the right direction

there is no shop across from Lowcountry 4x4...Viking motors used to be there. Joes Alignment is about 1/4 mile on left before you get there in little industrial shop complex...but have no personal knowledge of them for you. I used them 28 years ago to get new ball joints installed on my truck as Senior in Highschool or Freshman in College...

Frankie's tire off Cross County Rd (behind Generation XXX) Tell them I sent you and the concerns you have.

Dbenke, I went to Frankie's the other day after talking to you, but didn't get much service. Even after saying you sent me there.

I waited about 15 minutes for someone, then told him what I wanted a price on. He helped about five other customers while I waited, then 30 minutes later told me he would have to call with the info. I've never heard from him.

I am sure he was a little busy, and since I was trading in tires I probably wasn't the "optimal" customer. Either way, he seemed like a nice guy.
