hey agn guys. just bought a 1988 german model LJ73 left hand drive! Works great, 2-LT power feels pretty close to a 3B. Has a couple rust spots I need to weld but nothing compared to most Canadian models around here. 197 000 km on the clock, new clutch, new brakes and very meaty 31's.
Anyway, the radiator looks original and is getting pretty ratty. I've read that these engines don't like overheating very much so I'd like to nip it in the bud before it becomes an issue. So where's the best place to source a rad for this little beast? There's a KZJ rad on ebay but the measurements don't seem to match up.

-one more thing, the engine seems great but I'de like to give it a compression test anyway. can't seem to find what the compression should be...

thnx once again and sorry for the rainy pics, it's been pouring here for 2 weeks

Hi All,

I'd look for a local, "old school" radiator shop that can acid bath and pressure test your existing radiator.

Regards,

Alan
