New to the forum here but excited for the new rig. I've picked up this 99, clean, "never been wheeled" cruiser. I have big plans for it. More pics to come as mods are done.

Nice.....Welcome and enjoy!
Although, I always find it funny that every new 100 on here is "super clean" and "never been wheeled"
All the 100's that I know of that get wheeled, are better maintained than anything you'll find at a dealer or from the little old lady down the street.

welcome, and the big question does it have a locker ?

all 100s are never wheeled

what i mean is, its at home on or off road so it makes no difference lol

i luv my 99/100

welcome to the club

Nice pick bro . I hope u have lots of fun in it , The best 100 series LC imo , i have the same thing with lockers;)

Welcome to the Hundy group. Nice to see another local hundy.

Make sure to check out the local club forum as well.

Checked the forum looks like you guys have been on some great rides. I'll have to venture on out with you guys sometime. I have an 04 100 that I've taken out a couple of times on some mild trails. But it's the family car so it's still stock and will stay that way. Hence the 99 that I hope to have built soon!

Lift and Tires!

2.5 inch OME lift and diff drop were actually done last week along with some trail worthy rubber. I went with 315s. Duratrac. Running boards long gone too.

Wow- looks great with the lift and 315's. I have a '99 in the same color, love that truck!

I know this gets debated all the time, but any issues with the 315s and 2.5"? Rubbing? Did you go with spacers? Increase Bump stops?

Looks great, welcome the 99 Hundy Club!! My 99 is still pretty bare, well no running boards.

No rubbing yet. I haven't taken it off road yet. No spacers or bump stops. We'll have to see if it rubs when we get those axels flexed... Bumpers arrived today!

You may rub.....a lot. Installing 35's is one thing, it's another (more costly) process to make them actually work. That being said, they look cool so that is a plus.

I'm thinking that maybe you shouldn't start hanging out with the High Desert Cruisers folks. You've only had your truck a short time and have already put a lift and tires on it with bumpers on the way. You'll make me look bad since I've had mine 3 years and have only put some decent tires on it.

The upgrades have been planned for awhile, finally decided to pull the trigger. Looking forward to riding some trails in NM. We've got some great terrain around here and not too far from Ouray/Silverton and Moab.

Joining a local club like High Desert Cruisers or NM 4 Wheelers is the best way to expand your off-roading experiences and skills. I highly recommend you check out one or both.

PA, thanks for reminding me that I need to renew my membership which lapsed a couple months ago.
