Junk in air filter box

So I was replacing the air filter today in my new (to me) truck. Once I removed the old filter, I saw the following sitting at the bottom of that air filter box(?):

A few dry leaves
One of the 10mm nuts that looks like it came from engine hood
A 14mm socket


I can understand leaves but nuts and sockets? Makes me shudder as to what all is being left behind when one takes their vehicle to some of these shops. Reminds me of those surgeries where they sutured patient with some surgical instruments.

When I was searching around for a 100-series I came across one that had the bottom of the box completely covered in acorns. The owner had no clue they were there.
