The official Big Bear Run will be Saturday June 20, 9:00am @ Big Bear Discovery Center
(located next to Ranger Station on highway 38, just before Fawnskin),
the 20th seems to work better for the SoCal members who got back to me, (do note that the 21st is Fathers Day)

Trails that are confirmed OPEN, and would be fun, Gold Mountain (Difficulty level: 3+)
and based on the group size and ability, John Bull (Difficulty level: 4+) or Jacoby Canyon (moderate 2)

Even though we are gearing this as a day trip, those who plan on camping have a choice of:
Holcomb Valley Campground (3N16)
Serrano Campground (on Lake, across from Discovery Ctr)
Pine Knot Campground (at base of Snow Summit)
Hanna Flat Campground (is open, but expect fire damage)

The club will supply Hot Dogs, Hamburgers and soft drinks. Club members should bring side dishes or dessert.

How to Get to Bolsa Chica State Beach:
Bolsa Chica State Beach is on Pacific Coast Highway between Golden West and Warner Avenue.
To get there, exit I-405 at Beach Boulevard and turn right onto Pacific Coast Highway.
